Hello All,

I am looking to buy a used 2017 Q7, and would really like to find one with the black optic package. That has been a hard feet. Is it possible for me to buy a pretige without the package and have audi do it for me? Or is there an aftermarket site that I could go through to purchase the black optic features? Im also interested in body kit sites if you have any to recommend.

Keep in mind I have a budget, hoping to spend under 50k all-in, preferably 45k.

What color/colors are you looking at. The first result on Cars.com is a Silver one for example, with a white and black one further down so they are out there. It is out of your stated price range though. Audi will gladly sell you the parts but you are going to pay for them. You are better off finding the wheels and then having the trim wrapped.

I am actually looking for the charcoal or white, but unfortunately, the one you are speaking to sold last night/yesterday, I was planning to check it out on Saturday but saw it was gone this morning unless you see a different one Thats actually exactly what I wanted but I just saw it for the first time and it was taken down.

Sorry for the beginner question, is trim wrapping pretty durable and would it look similar to the audi version?

Well there are a few white ones on that site too so you can see what options/mileage you want. Just have to search around and be patient waiting for the one you want. I had to wait months for mine because the Ink Blue was a rarer color by itself and then the BOP was an additional wait. The OEM pieces are painted so no, it will not be as durable in my opinion. The wrap can be damaged and show the color underneath.

Not sure where you are, I'm in Canada. I ordered my 2017 Technic in October 2016 and Black Optics was not an option at that time. I'm not sure when they started offering it.
