I have the TSB in hand. Specifically say up to 4 years/ 50,000 miles.

Just called Audi (in Canada) and they just released the bulletin on this for Canada. So call your dealership and get free pads :)

So guys, help me out here. Now that it is cold I experience a squeal when I back out of the garage and hit the brake for the first time. Its a brief squeal, and I dont hear it again after I drive off. This is my second winter with the Q and have about 11.5k miles on it. How bad is the squeal you guys hear?

SAme here... It's really high pitch for like the first 10-15 secs out of the driveway.... .regardless, I am at 25K miles and parts are on order for the FREE brake pads. You should position it with your dealership to bring your car in to get it replaced. I would suggest you delay the FREE change as far as possible so that you are getting value from your old pads :)

Since the weather turned colder a few months ago the noise is back, I have yet to hear it when the weather is warm.. Anyway, I called my dealer in the beginning of Nov and I was told they were still waiting on parts.. I called this past Monday and I was told the parts are on backorder and there is no ETA available... Very frustrating..
