Hi all,

I placed an order for 2018 Q7 Prestige on 5/28. Today (a week later), I made some changes to the order, including adding BOP, and got the following updated timeline from dealer:

Production Week 3817
Production Complete 07/29/2017(ETA)
Ship Departure 08/23/2017(ETA)
Domestic Port Arrived 09/27/2017(ETA)

How can it be that Production Week is *after* Production Complete?

Also, prior to the change today, the original production week was 3017. My change today has pushed it back to 3817! Is this generally expected?

BTW, my COMM # is NX2065, in case folks like SYMAWD could help check what is going on for me.

Don't know the answer to your question but I ordered a 2018 Prestige with BOP on 5/26 and my production week is also week 38.

Yes, BOP adds a delay of about 2 months. Production week updates before the other ETAs, that is why they don't make sense now.

2 months extra makes me seriously consider skipping BOP and having it plasti-dipped.

It is possible to move back up a little bit, but there is no way of knowing for sure.
