Yes. Yours will get out of port sooner because it is a sold order but it won't be released early.

My 7 build was complete on 6/11 (ordered 5/10). I know it is at the port. Wasn't on the last carrier that left Emden. Hoping it will be on one of the next two. Glad it was finished before the strike.

There is an Audi rep on another forum. Gave him my commitment # which I got from my dealership and he was able to track it.

Also, I've gotten a couple of Audi Communication which are received at the following milestones: Ordered; Built; European Port; US Port

My latest one was that the build was complete and vehicle is at the European port.

Today I bought a 2018. It was one that the dealer had ordered previously, so is already on the boat and the ETA is 7/7/17. I got super lucky as it had the except build that I wanted except it has no rear-side-airbags, and I was going to order that, but that seems ok. The sales manager said that Audi may not release it immediately as they still have 2017s to sell. I asked how many 2017 Q7s he had for his own dealership, and he said 36. So I am concerned they will make me wait for no good reason.

Maybe I'm too skeptical, but 36 2017 Q7s sitting in a lot at one dealership sounds like a high number to me.
