In my experience, the Order Guide is the bible as far as choosing options, etc. The online configurator has been known to have inaccuracies, or at least less detail than the Order Guide. So if you have the Order Guide, that's all you need.

2 Key things I missed in 2017 vs 2018 for my order "Power closing doors" and "All weather floor Mats". But I have been enjoying my 2017 Q7 for a year which I would have missed. No regrets for me.

Was your order accepted and do you have an order number? If so, it will be a 2017. If it was wait listed due to no dealer allocation, etc. I'm not 100% sure it would be a 2017 at this point.

I presume this only relates to options selections if there is a non-option releated change (ie all models get improved storage or *cough cough* a sun glasses holder) we won't know until the vehicles hit our shores?

Whew. I was all ready to be bummed to find out Audi put the 3.0 Turbo in for 2018. Fortunately not. Now I just gotta order those black exhaust tips.

Sucks they pushed hard for me to buy the all-weather floormats stating they were "required" when I buy the cold-weather package, then they include them... I'm CERTAIN that my local dealership will refund me the price... right???

I got a call a few days after I placed my order (in January) saying that it was a requirement to buy the mats with the cold weather package. I'm sure I won't get a refund as well.
