22" Wheels sizing and offsets.
Finally decided to bite the bullet and order new 22" rims for the new Q7. There was minimal information regarding the max width and optimal offsets for the new Q7. I decided to be conservative in purchasing, for the fear of mal-fitment with too aggressive offsets and/or widths. I decided on Vossens VFS2 in 22x9.0 Et +32 all around for a "stock" look to the car.
Couple of thoughts.
1. Wheel Gap: a tad too much. Eventually would like to lower the car by ~1in. I think those with the air suspension, this "problem: could be alleviated easily.
2. Offset: From reading the forums, stock Et: somewhere +32mm to +39mm. Honestly, could have gone +28mm to +30mm for a flusher look.
Hopefully this helps someone out!

Looks great!
Personally, I don't see a problem with the wheel gap. Wheel gap is appropriate and looks fine on a tall SUV/crossover. If anything, I'm generally not a fan of SUVs that are dropped too much, not just because you lose ground clearance which is one of the hallmarks of SUVs, but also it doesn't look right to me.
But if you're really concerned about wheel gap, I'm pretty sure you can do some VCDS/OBDeleven coding to drop the air suspension a bit like many have done on the C7 Audis with air suspension, assuming your Q7 is equipped with it.

On my next set of tires I will try the Michelin Premier LTX 265/40/22 to get a tad more sidewall.
Rides decent for being 22" with low profile sidewalls.
