63% oil level

I wouldn't say it's abnormal. Perhaps it didn't get the usual fill. But, keep an eye on it; if it drops below 50% in the next 100 or 200 miles, then I might start to get some interest. Some engines burn a bit more oil during beakin than others.
Just keep an eye on it.

Ed, you'll need to monitor the level and establish what the trend is. Sure, if it continues to drop it could be a concern. You need to watch/monitor.

Elsewhere on this forum, folks suggested an audi part number for a dip stick. But, a folks posted later (unfortunately after I bought one), that stick is not the right length, and the marks at the bottom for low/high are not accurate in the Q7's 3.0L engine. (maybe not in the 2, either, I don't know)

Unfortunately, you can't manually check it - Audi removed the dip stick like you've used all your life. The dip stick tube has a little cap on it.
