Thanks for this post...it makes me more committed to keeping my 2018 Q7 Prestige until it dies or I die. I've had no problems and as long as I keep out of the dealership so as not to see the shiny new "improved" models I'll be more than happy. I drove my 2001 A6 for 16 years and this Q7 seems to be better built than that by far.

I'm sorry you have such problems with the new Q7. Models from 2021 have a new MMI with MIB3 system, which turned out to be very underdeveloped and has many bugs. Unfortunately, Audi does not yet have full, new software for all these faults.
I have a car with new MMI but with previous MIB2 and everything works without any problems.
Many car manufacturers have a problems with overheating a phone on a wireless chargers. If it comforts you, it is even worse in the new BMW X5/X6/X7. If you have an iPhone, check if you have the latest software version because Apple has released a new version that was to improve the phone's cooperation with car wireless chargers.

We went from a 99% problem-free 18 prestige to a new 21 Prestige. We had 3 incidents of the screens going blank - or rebooting by themselves right after delivery and one incident when it was below 20 degrees and some systems didn't work until the car was warmed up. Took to dealer and they did an update and we have had no issues since. Well - except occasionally the Bluetooth will cut out - but it's always on one street we drive down at the exact same spot...so we think we are passing by a building that has something in it that interferes with it.
Screens don't overly bother me...hate the finger prints, tho.

Computer issues shouldn't be temperature related. Makes me worried since I drive tons of miles into frigid winter. Car regularly displays temps below -15F in Northern New England on many of our ski trips in the dead of winter.
Can you elaborate? Not being very descriptive. Thanks in advance.
