Default Audi Care - Is it worth it?

Is it worth to purchase Audi care for my new Q7?. I am planning to keep the car for a while. The services provided on the regular maintenance schedule is not much other than changing oil, filter, wiper blades and checking fluids, brakes, tires, etc. Can oil be replaced at oil service centers?

I bought it. If you look further, there are other things that are done on 2 year/20K mile intervals. One is change the brake fluid.

here is link to Maintenance schedule. https://www.audiusa.com/content/dam/...-Year-2020.pdf

Scroll down the list of standard Maintenance and then “Additional Maintenance Items”.

I got a set of tires (not all in one visit) charged off to Audi Care. My service advisor swung that one. So that helped offset the cost of the package. I’m holding off On the free pads and rotors As long as I can. I’m sure that’ll help justify a lot of the cost. I honestly don’t remember what Audi Care cost me.

I have it on my S6 and bought it for the wife's Q7. At least on the 6, it saves a significant amount over regular service prices and was a LOT cheaper than having them performed at independent shops (was 2K cheaper than independent) on plugs and transmission service at 45k alone. It was such a good deal on the S6 that I didn't even check with the Q7.

I had it for my Q7. I just remember it was well worth it and missed not having it anymore.

Audi Care is only MSRP of $999 It covers more than most think on maintenance (as others stated) and I have it on my new A7. (Same price for a Q7)

You can pay less if you negotiate, I did....

Audi care is worth it to Audi. Not to you.

if you want to know how much mark up there is on dealer provided routine maintenance consider the cost of doing it yourself— the so called Audi care deal— and then the cost of going in as needed and paying full price

my estimate is the mark up is about 400% over actual and Audi care ensures you pay it up front. It’s typically rolled into your loan so they get you on finance interest too.

audi loves that Audi care.

if money savings is a factor, and must be if you fancy Audi care, then all towns have a local and good German focused mechanic. They can do the work for a fraction of audi care and likely even pride themselves to do the work right. Or you can take your chance with the in between jobs part time musician mechanic your Audi dealer is paying a few dollars over minimum wage to
