Default Audi Introduces Monthly Subscription Plan

Following other automakers, Audi is now testing its own monthly subscription service. For $1,395/month you can select A4, A5, Q5 or Q7. Only available in Texas for now.

Includes insurance so not a bad deal, especially for those wanting to change things up

It would be great to see the T's & C's of the contract? How often can you change vehicles? etc. Anyone has contract details?

TIA

Audi's subscription service now introduces lower priced "Core Collection" tier at $995/month and includes A4, S3, Q5 and TT.

The "Premier Collection" is now $1,495/month and includes S5, Q7, A5, A6 and Core collection.

So you just walk in with $1000 and walk out with a S3 or TT? No down payment, no security deposit, etc? Do they run your credit every time you restart this or is it fixed term like 1 year and you can switch as many times as you want within same class?
If lower tier car makers start doing this it can be a big trouble for luxury brands. Most luxury owners don't even bother test driving other cars, but if was $300-$500/mo, I am sure someone would not mind taking a Honda or Toyota for a spin to see how they perform.

I want to do long trips from Florida but don't want the miles. Minimum commitment is 3 months. I would consider renting a brand new q and do the long 3 to 4k road trips.

Let's see how their Texas experiment goes and see if they expand.

From my understanding as to how similar subscription services work for Volvo and Porsche, there is no down payment or security deposit. Thats the whole idea about having only one single payment that includes subscription, maintenance and insurance charges. Typically, the plans run for 48 months and the ability to switch vehicles depends on the tier selected (low tier = less options vs higher tier = more options).

While Volvo does offer sub $1000 subscription services, other luxury brands (BMW, Mercedes & Porsche) cater to the premium market with similar offerings.
