I went with the glacier white as well with the nougut brown.

The wife picked the colors. I wanted to warmer white but was told it was more flat. The glacier is a more cooler color. As you can see in the pick next to the A8L

Black interior with glacier white is safe, but I think nougat or the other brown also look great with glacier, as evidenced by the pics posted.

Get what you like and trust your instinct, not what some dealer is calling ugly.

Picked up my Tofana White on Nougat a few weeks ago and could not be happier. Dark enough to not show the dirt, light enough to stay cooler in the summer and not boring like gray (husband has had two grays- he knows how I feel). This is my third car with brown interior (preivous two cars were X5's with BMW version of Nougat) and I always got compliments on how nice it looked.

Not to thread jack but I spec'd mines to have a black paint with black leather but I wonder if the tan might be better with all the black. The inlays are gray oak. What you guys think?

I'm kinda leaning toward with the Black / Gray oak inlays now, it seems a bit more safer bet than Nougat Brown. Although I want to try the Nougat Brown out, but perhaps I gotta see it in person to make decision.

Should I also get the "Black Headliner" too? Is it gonna be too dark for the Black interior color?

Any audi dealer should have some cars with nougat brown seats. If you get Nougat, get the black headliner. They look good together.

If it makes you feel more comfortable, many of the review units that Audi sent out for reviewers were Glacial White and Nougat Brown. If it looked bad, they wouldn't send them out.

This review, for example, is from when they brought cars to the West Coast for reviewers.
