Default Black out wheels or not?

2018 Q7 Glacier White with BO package and black emblems. Trying to decide if I should powder coat wheels black. Love the 21” BO wheels but leaning towards powder coating gloss black to match BO black. Any opinions would be appreciated.

I prefer charcoal / gunmetal gray, but since you have the BOP I think black wheels would look good with the white..

Here's a good comparison I was at the shop and first one is a customer Q7 with powder coated 21". 2nd pic is my Q7 with 22" carbon color like a dark gun metal gray

Thanks all. Those gunmetal do look really good. I think I can do any color I want and agree those maybe the way to go.

I agreed with your earlier sentiment about the BO Rims looking good. Since I am somewhere that I can use winter wheels- I opted for black rims during the winter and the BO rims the rest of the year.

This is the route I went as well. Although I’m actually thinking about powder coating my wheels this winter while I have my winters on.

Pictures rarely capture the real life awesomeness of black wheels.

Unless you go with full blackout rest of the vehicle, blackout wheels look a bit forced on Q7.
