Which booster seat did you get?
After reading a few threads, some (if not most) highback booster seats require headrests to be removed and since rear headrests don't look like they can be removed easily, I wanted to ask fellow Q7 owners with booster-age kids which booster you bought.
I am considering Chicco Kidfit Zip Air, which needs headrest to be out of the way, so if we can't remove the headrests easily, I'll take suggestions on highback boosters.
Thanks.

Thanks, I wish I got britax frontier before my son started approaching the end of the child-seat phase so that he could use the harness and then transition to seatbelt, at this point he is too big to use harness.
I don't know how old your little one is, but I am also worried about kicking the center A/C buttons, even though I don't have 4 zone. I like the idea of center seat placement but he loves to have his reading light so that might be the only problem.

Headrest comes out easy. just need to lean the seat forward, lift the head rest to the highest point, then insert the q7 key into the little slot and push and pull. comes right out.
I had to take mine out with our 2 high back britax seats. The info is in your manual or the dealer will do it for you.

I have two Cleck Obors, for twins that are almost 6. The seats are simple and have excellent safety ratings. I did not remove the headrests, but I could see needing to as the kids grow and the headrest on the seat needs to be raised.

I didn't hear about Cleck Oobr until your messages, it looks really nice, and has a good shape, unlike other seats. Too bad I can't find it in any stores, TRUS had them on sale, people must have grabbed them.
eppoh7, I think safety ratings from IIHS is either pass or fail, there isn't anything in between, are there any other safety standards/tests I am not aware of?
Since IIHS rates seats as Best Bet or Good Bet/Check Fit, and finally Not Recommended, it looks like most parents pay for looks and functionality, since they all seem to have same safety features.
