Default Connecting your phone to the car different ways is?

I can't quite work out what connecting your phone the 3 different ways does - USB, wifi, and Bluetooth. Anyone tell me what the difference advantages are?

USB is most reliable and only way to take advantage of Android Auto or Apple Carplay. Plus it charges your phone, and your q7 will remind you if you are about to leave your car without your phone. (if it's still plugged in)
Bluetooth obviously is the most convenient way, but if you will be stuck with the MMI permission warning, it will get annoying fast. See other threads.
Wifi is used only by MMI Connect I believe, and nothing else. Using Wifi between car and phone, you can use MMI connect app and stream music etc (MMI app on your phone has streaming radio built in) but it's not much better than streaming through bluetooth.

Judging by your question I would guess that you are not in the USA? As features that are available in different parts of the world vary then it is difficult to answer your question as to which connection works best for the features that you want.

How did you infer that from just his question? I'm just curious.

Because the question wasn’t English so I assumed it to be a translation.

OK, you could eliminate the confusion by posting your location under your logon name.
