Delivery Timing

Unless something changed, it will come through Port of San Diego. You can confirm by going to your dealer & looking @ the window sticker of a Q7 in stock. It will show the Port of Entry on it. All the ones destined for a certain region come through the same port.
Unfortunately you're on the tail end of everything. When my Q7 came over it was Emden Germany (shipping port) Jacksonville, FL, Houston, TX (my stop), Veracruz Mexico, & then eventually around to San Diego. With my A4, they even threw in a stop in Davisville RI

That would be a reasonable assumption , but I wouldn't cop to being in San Diego. It's a nice place but Encinitas is far more beautiful (used to fly my Turbo 210 frequently between Torrance & Lindberg &/or Montgomery & got to enjoy the views of the flower fields on the way.

This forum has been a great source of information. Thanks to all of you.
I get way more information from this forum than my salesman. Knowing the build date, sailing dates from port and other information to follow the ships is very interesting.
My salesman told me current eta is 90 days out from order. No info on build week or anything else. Pretty vague if you ask me, but not that I'm in a rush to get my new 2018 Q7 or anything. Ha....
