Default Easy entry / exit

I recently got my Q7 and surprised that the seat does not automatically move back when you are ready to come out of the car. I am used to of driver's seat moving back after the car turns off, for easy exit and entry. Is there a setting I am missing?

Go to menu, vehicle, left control button, vehicle settings, seats, driver seat, and then check the easy entry/ exit function.

Did that from memory, but I believe it is correct.

I did that one but the seats did not adjust. I wonder if I need to take it to the dealer.

The steering wheel might just move up. I don't think it moves the seat.

You need to change the coding. Many here including myself have done it with OBDeleven.

I didn't do anything for me. In My old X5, the steering wheel retracted a couple of inches. Q7 does nothing at all.

Tried applying the above settings but all it did was add the Rear Seats option in the MMI where I can also select Easy Exit but didn't make any difference when I got in / out the car.

Am I missing something?

I looked through everything else I've changed and below is the only thing that I think could possibly be related. Not sure why it doesn't work for you.

36/Seat Adj Driver Side Coding Pax Seat Adj by Drivers Seat active
36/Seat Adj Driver Side Coding Seat Symmetry Movement active
06/Seat Adj Pax Side Coding Pax Seat Adj by Drivers Seat active
06/Seat Adj Pax Side Coding Seat Symmetry Movement active
