I have been having problems with the dreaded "Park Brake Failed" message and associated symbols. Two dealer scans produced no stored codes. I do have a picture of the display--without the message.
This has now occurred twice. Both times were upon initial start up of the day.

My questions:
Is the error code stored forever?
Is the error code wiped clean after X number of starts?
(My previous vehicle, a GM, wiped the computer clean of codes after 10 starts.)
