Not much is talked about how our Q7's are one of the only "German" SUV's still actually made in Germany; I for one find this a plus. I understand, and am proud, the US plants maybe meeting or perhaps surpassing the benchmarks of their Euro counterparts, but I think there's more to it. Maybe it's a heritage thing but I like the idea of having Germans/EU'ers help assemble my Euro vehicle.

As stated above, it is built in Bratislava, Slovakia. For the US market, Audi uses factories in Spain (Q3), Hungary (A3/ TT), Germany (A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, R8), Slovakia (Q7, Q8), and Mexico (Q5). I think I got that all correct.

Yeah, and the aluminum suspension elements are made in Poland. It's a true EU car, not only German anymore.

Audi's are about as German as BMW and Mercedes these days. Global parts and assembly. All German engineered and tested though
