Inner Door Sill Protector?
Hi All - does anyone know if a product exists - some sort of cover plate, etc. - to protect this area? This is where my 6 y.o. likes to put his muddy feet when entering and exiting the rig. Thanks!

same issue here as well, sometimes my 5 y.o. son manages to make a big step in and jumping out of the car or give him a lift😀
I saw some sort of a plastic foile which has an adhesive side and can be put over I wonder if it will hold...

I am destroying this spot on my Q7 since I use it to get to the roof box and load/unload skis. Subbed for an update...

Here is my solution: a thick black vinyl to cover the seal attached with double sided tape plus a new bike tube (cut in half) to cover the weather strip and taped it (black duct-tape).
Have 6 and 8 year old that step over it daily. So far works great (although not looking as nicely) but works fine.

I just wipe it once or twice a month with 00A096307015 Cockpit Cleaner. Works like a charm.
Unless your kids are wearing golf shoes, just wiping it with this will keep it pretty clean. I wouldn't want to put anything they can trip or line it with anything to make it slippery.
