Default Latest MMI Version

What is the latest version of the MMI available? My 2018 Prestige shows the current version as 1118, and has not been updated since I got the car a year ago. Has there been updates to the MMI since then? When I took my car in for it's first service I complained about the top down view switching to graphic mode from camera mode. The service manager said there was no fix and in fact had never heard of the problem. I'm not confident they even checked it out. This has been a nagging issue with owners since the model came out in 2017. This has to be a software issue so I am hoping that someone that doesn't have the problem might have a newer, updated version of the MMI and I can challenge the service manager.

It sounds like the numbering is the same as with the B9 S5 MMI, so the latest factory version is 1320. You can't get that as an update, and the ETA for a fix to the camera issue and other issues has reportedly been pushed to Dec. It was supposed to be released back in Q2, so believe it or not. I personally have 1178 with the same camera issue.

Good News/Bad News...your issue is known, there isn't a fix, we have been told Audi is working on it...but that's all. So, challenging your SM, isn't going to help. sorry.

I have 1118 as well. I used to have the same problem with the black birds eye view. Since taking it for regular service 3 months ago, the birds eye view was flaw less. It didn't revert to black a single time. SM did indicate that they updated something in software, unfortunately nothing is indicated in the paperwork. Sorry, I thought it would be something clear that I could help you with.

We just had our car in the dealership on Friday for its 10K checkup. I'm not sure if they did anything than a wash and oil change and multi point inspection. That may have been all that the service entailed, so I'm not complaining. But I imagine a software update takes a few hours on these cars and the car was in for 3 hours, or less, so I don't think any software update was done.

I'll go check what version we're on later on but I don't think I've had the camera issues you guys are talking about, and I love the birds-eye view over the rest when pulling in to a parking space. I may not even be understanding what exactly is going on with you guys, but are you saying the camera, while in the Top View, is black and you can't see the car or the lines when in that view?

Confirming on mmi version 1178, once you switch to camera from graphic mode it stays camera mode even after turning off the vehicle and mmi and restarting. So no issues if I understand your concern correctly.
