Definitely, but I wanted to check if the app codes it any differently because it does not mention in the notes that HVAC must be operating or that you may get a brief start/stop if HVAC is off.

Anyone has not touched ODB11 settings backup for 2016 Canadian Technik model?
Have one persistent error coming up, but not sure where the problem is coming from, wanted to compare my settings to original ones.
Would appreciate the file in DM.

Hmm, not sure how we got from start/stop to VIM, but oh well. VIM is not possible at the moment if your MMI software is above a certain level - check in OBD11 app description, specific version is mentioned there. I have the earliest 2018 Q7 and it's already above the version mentioned in the description, so I wasn't able to activate it. And, no, there is no manual way to do it. There are several universal modules that can be installed behind the MMI unit to activate VIM, but as far as I can tell, no one was able to find a loophole to activate VIM for 2018 or newer Q. Here's a universal module from Kufatec: Kufatec VIM universal

Default Way to change default screen via OBDEleven in the VC?

I know this has been asked before under other titles, but I thought I'd ask some of those in this thread if there is a way to change the default screen in the virtual cockpit from the car info screen to one of the other options (preferably the navi map screen)? It seems there are countless settings that can be modified and hoping there is one via this OBDEleven to change the default screen. I have a 2017 Prestige, and it has been voiced on the forum that the 2018 models are able to set their default screen as the last screen choice before shutting off the engine.

Software on 2017 defaults to Info screen every time you start the car, no one was able to find the workaround to force it to remember last setting. It looks to be something in the firmware and it doesn't appear to be changeable with adaptation changes.

does anyone know if you can change the speedo to compensate for a new tire size in order to display the proper speed?
