Default Optimum Gloss-Coat and Wolfgang Uber Ceramic Coating

Has anyone applied these as an alternative to Opti-Coat. I am having a difficult time finding a resource in the Pensacola, FL / Mobile, AL market that does Opti-Coat Pro +, so looking at alternatives to protect the paint and help with dirt.

So wish we still lived in Houston or Boston... Know the options would be much better there...

Here are the Florida Opti-Coat installers. If you can find one within a reasonable distance, stick with Opti-Coat Pro Plus. You won't be sorry.

That's the challenge, as the closest certified installer is 3.5 hours away in Auburn, AL. I have talked to an Xpel dealer locally who can offer Opti-Coat 2.0 for $700 or CS2 Titanium for $1100 plus paint correction, which they said wouldn't probably be too significant.

My understanding is that Opti-Coat 2.0 is the retail version of Opti-Coat Pro... Decisions, Decisions...

The Ink Blue Metallic paint shows everything, so this is becoming really important...

The DIY version is 2.0. The Opti-Coat Pro is a thicker coat and is authorized installer only. If you can swing it, get the extra Plus coating (about $300 or so). It adds a high gloss, very slippery and even better dirt resistance. No waxing needed. But you'll have make a trip out of it.

I have Wolfgang Uber on my car. It's good, but I preferred Cquartz.

CQuartz is a good product. The only drawback is it only lasts for a couple of years. Opti-Coat will last for many more years. I'm on year five now and no signs of any deterioration. (Optimum claims "lifetime" but I'm not sure what that really means).
