I was able to get 1.5% off on an $80k Prestige on top of the ED 5% discount.

Sorry but 10% off MSRP sounds really fishy. You sure the vehicle wasn't a demo? Or pink? Or damaged? 10% means the dealer is willing to lose money on a car that in very high demand and low availability. Just doesn't make any sense at all.

Can we get ED 5% discount from a US dealer, I thought that applies if you are taking delivery in EU. Anyways my dealer committed for a 6%. As he has not given me in writing I am going to remind him and get something in written.

Can someone please tell what did you guys pay out the door in US, which trim and features? Will really appreciate the help.... Thanks.
To be honest, it just depend on whether dealer is willing to give. I ordered my q7 with few hundred above invoice price. So i think even allocation is limited but you can still quote for better price.

What did your order form say? In my case the order form clearly mentioned the 6% discount. If yours didn't then you are at the mercy of your dealer honoring it come delivery time.

Are you sure it was a 2017 model? I was getting 15% off MSRP on a 2015 model but nothing more than 6% on 2017.

That would make sense. I've seen some REALLY good deals on 2015 TDI models what with DieselGate going on. They are almost giving them away. My dealer is using 2015 TDI Q7s as loaners because they can't sell them.

Yes its a 2017 model & brand new...not a demo. Had 22 or so miles on it. Here is a pic in my garage..looks amazing. Will post more pics soon. My suggestion is to find dealers around 50-100 miles radius and negotiate like crazy. I was following this car from Feb 27th to now & was negotiating via email\phone. I had to drive 50+ miles to get it even though i have a dealer 3 miles from where I live.

There final offer was 8 percent off MSRP. I waited an hour before dealership closed on Friday to offer my 10 percent off MSRP price. Told them if they say yes, I am coming down 1st thing in the morning. They called me an hour later that ok but I have to finance through AUDI which I was going to do anyways.

Remember this is a 50k+ car & not everyone out there is buying a Q7 no matter what dealers tell you. If there is one dealer in your area, then you have no luck. I live in VA & have at least 20+ dealers in the 50-100 miles radius. I called each one!

While I was in the dealership from 9am-5pm to get all the paperwork done, they sold only 1 Q7(mine) & had 4 other test drives...again Easter weekend but still dealers make it sound like they are flying off the lots. Not really! Be patient and don't sound desperate

Here is the quote they gave me. I have removed dealershp, vin # etc for obvious reasons. This is a premium model + MMI navigation + White metallic color. Maybe the demand is high for premium plus or prestige. This car had been on the lot for 30 days or so. I started following at end of February...I gave it a shot..if i got a deal great..if not, I was willing to wait till end of September to get a deal. I never pay MSRP on any cars.
