I've been living in fear of the dreaded flat in the Q7 (2018). After 6 years it finally happened. Of course on a late rainy night in April. I still had the winter snow tires on the car so no run flats. Tried the foam kit that comes with the vehicle. Foam leaked out of the hole and didn't seal it. Fortunately I had a tire repair kit ($10 on Amazon) that I purchased when I got the Q7 and was able to plug the hole. It took just a few minutes. I just rolled the car until I could access the hole where the foam was oozing out. After plugging the hole I put the compressor on and in 5 min it was good to go. My advice go buy a plug kit and also put a pair of pliers in the car for nail or screw removal. Of course this wouldn't solve a side wall puncture but it did the trick for the puncture on the tread area.
