Quickjack for a Q7

Has anyone tried their new 600elx
I'm thinking about the lift sense I'm tired of fighting the whole jack stand versus Jack's and I like to get underneath the car to work on some things just going to eat the cost since it's still cheaper than paying mechanics to do two or three different oil changes

I went the MaxJax route — even in my small garage. A few thousand up front but it’s a real lift and has paid for itself already (assuming I ascribe no cost to the time I’ve spent wrenching).

Thought you guys might want to know that you can use a QJ horizontally for the Q7. Their site recommends this as an alternative.

Which model quick jack do you have, or do you know the max spread? I was looking at the 7000TL, but max spread between lifting points is 60" and by my rough measurements the jackpoints on my SQ7 are about 65" apart (measuring across the width of the car), so thinking that won't work. Even the 7000TLX has a max of 66" so even that seems borderline.
a welding shop can probably do it including materials for under $200.
if you only need access to under without taking the wheels it you can make a platform out of 2x10 or 12’s. I used to use this all the time on my B7 S4 avant.

right, if you don't need to take off all the wheels a set of ramps work fine. I've a set of 4 (home made) ramps that life the car about 7.5" or so, enough to do most works.
