Default Removing W/S washer's dealer solution from tank

The crap the dealer put into the reservoir has to go. It leaves heavy white deposits on the paint and I can see a heavy deposit of white at the top of the fill opening.

I tried several hoses, to drain out the solution but not having any luck. Then I Googled the location of the tank and it seems it might be on the RIGHT side while the filler is on the LEFT side. If that's true, it's no wonder I can't siphon.

Ideas? I'm not willing to remove a tire and mudguard.

I had a car that had it's paint ruined (pitted) by crappy w/s washer fluid. On my Audi, the dealer fluid is making a heck of mess and thanks to the headlight washers, a bigger mess than on most vehicles.

What do you think about just running the tank dry by spraying the windshield then washing the car.

7 liters worth? I hope someone has a better method. I already have thought about running the rear wiper (less mess) but I'd rather find a hose the right outer diameter and stiffness so that I can feed it further into the system, than the hoses that I have on hand. I tried 1/4" sprinkler hose which is quite rigid but I can't get it to siphon (using a wet vac to start to pull solution up the hose). I tried a larger, but very pliable hose but I couldn't get it to feed properly thru what must be a tortuous route to the tank. And I still can't believe Audi had to put the inlet on the left and the tank on the right side of the vehicle.

Dave, Why not just run water down the hose you installed in the tank and flush out the stuff you don’t like. BTW, if you search EBay, someone has a tank for a 2017 for sale. In the pics, the tank is just to the right of the filler in the drivers side wheel well. You see the turns in the filler neck and the 90 degree turn at the tank. I tried to grab a phot to post but EBay wouldn’t let me.

Also, if you look carefully at the photo, it seems that there are many baffles in there to prevent sloshing. It may be near impossible to drain it from the outside. In my experience, when I didn't like what the dealer put in the tank, I would just continue washing my windshield repeatedly - no, not continuously, but multiple times with breaks in between - for about 2 days and that would drain the tank. Pump didn't die, so I guess you can try that.

OK, I'll give up on the "siphon the tank" idea. I'll run the rear washer for a while as it will make less of a mess. I don't know WHY the dealer put such crappy fluid in!

EDIT: I just ran the rear one many times and while I saw plenty of fluid come out of the nozzle, I was expecting a much larger puddle on the cement. I guess I'll be doing the same procedure quite a few times. Wiping off the rear is a lot easier than had I run the front & h/l washers. GLad I have a 5 gallon container of Meguiars Last Touch Detailer.

Run your front washer while it's raining, and you are driving, this way the rain will wash away most of the mess.

LOL! That might work in another part of the world. I live in Calif. We go a LONG time between raindrops here. It hasn't rained here since last spring other than a few drops.
