Do you have to pull the caliper to install the spring? My car is squealing in reverse and would like to fix it.

You do not need to remove the caliper to install the second spring. take the wider part of the spring and insert it further into the caliper than where it will ultimately rest, then pull it forward and set the narrower part so it locks in. I think this may have helped but not really sure. Ended up having the TSB performed and that has improved things although the weather is now warm and we will see how the brakes behave next winter. The cold seems to bring out the squeal.

Dealer said new pads are part of the TSB so I will wait until the 12th for them to work on it. They said there are three different springs that can be used and its determined by which caliper is on the vehicle.
