Suppose, parts that are being compared, are from those two versions of air suspensions.
I think the SQ7 one is the "Electromechanical active roll stabilisation" which comes as part of the Driving dynamics sports pack in the UK. This also includes sports diff and all wheel steering. The pack is £5,700 so definitely one of the more expensive options.

One of the guys here in the UK has had loads of issues with his Q7 and the dealer gave him an SQ7 with the above pack as a loan car. He said it was night and day compared to the S line Q7.

Seems like the sport version is thicker?
I have been searching for an H&R rear sway bar for the 4M chassis with no luck. Can anyone CONFIRM that other than size these (4M0511305AM) are directly interchangeable?

Well I ordered the 4M0-511-305-BF (replacement for the "AM"). We'll see if it is indeed more rigid and helps with body roll.

Resurrecting. Any info on just an improved sway bar replacement - like we can upgrade the A6 to the S6 with just the stiffer bars?

Hi all. I asked Alex @Europrice to help me out with some research, and the Q7 has the base SQ7 sway bars available. They are not the electromechanical version - just upgraded sways much like I did in my A6 Allroad. I just swapped them with S6 stock sways - no bushings required.

Alex added them to the site, here:

https://europrice.us/sway-bars-sport-q7

I will be getting them once I finished liquidating my Allroad parts so I'll report back. I am confirming with my shop its the same easy swap as the A6/S6.

Thanks!

I apologize for not returning with a verdict. The new sway bar absolutely helped with body roll. How much, YMMV. But in my humble opinion for a daily driver it was very worth the modest price.

Did you order the OEM SQ7 sways? Or another brand?
