Tailgate yellow and orange wires. Where do they go?

Tailgate yellow and orange wires. Where do they go?

So.. I had to remove the panel over the tailgate latch to clean up a spill. These yellow and orange wires with "tinfoil" pad ends came out. It isn't obvious where to reinstall these sensors. Anyone know?

There was another thread on this. They don’t connect to anything. Just tuck them under the panel.

Thanks! Took me a while to find that thread, but it confirms the wires don't seem to need to be connected to anything.

Did anyone reveal in that thread that it is pre-wiring for Mr. Fusion Home Energy Reactor upgrade.
