Thanks to all of you folks here. I have been monitoring this forum for MONTHS as I researched my next ride. Finally narrowed it down to a Q7 and an XC90. Sent spec sheets to many dealers to provide quotes, which most did. Audi dealers were BY FAR easier to work with. After much back and forth, I signed for a 2018 Q7, Prestige, Cold Weather Package and Driver Assistance Package. Samurai with black interior, including black headliner (which I wasn't sure I'd like, but it does look really nice).

Can I ask how much of a discount you were able to find off of MSRP.

Thanks for the reply. I am in Kentucky and the best I can find is 10% off and I would have to drive 200+ miles to get that. It sounds like I may be better off waiting until October to see if Audi offers any cash back deals.

I am not sure when the 19 models are hitting the dealerships but I am guessing it will be hard to get even 5-6% off on the 2019s. That was my main motivation to buy a 2018 model now rather than wait for 2019s. Also, it matters what the msrp is- mine was around 68k so there was more room for negotiation. Depending on what options you pick- 10% might not be bad.
