I've considered the Adaptive Chassis and Luxury Packages but I'm not sure I want to throw another $4K to $6K at it. Thanks for reading and letting me know what you think

Oh, about the luxury package. I sat in one for a bit during my delivery and my take is the extra leather is hardly noticeable (mostly lower door, and arm rest), the soft close doors are a pain where you almost have to almost close the door for the mechanism to take over. I thought that took too much effort versus simply closing it. So basically you're paying $6k for massaging seats.

Adaptive, great if you are towing a lot. I never plan to so I skipped it

I'm kind of wishing I ordered the adaptive chassis for 2 reasons:
1. I'm assuming it would help with the run flats making every bump in the road noticeable (is this true?)
2. I'm assuming as well you can lower the car height for parking which would help with kids getting in/out and the inevitable purchase of a roof rack. After looking at the cost for running boards this would probably be the better solution.

the '18 has the power close doors on prestige anyways. I would like massaging seats but I don't think they're worth $6k.

1. I would say the comfort mode on the AC is softer than the regular chassis. I don't find the run flats that harsh in any chassis mode though.

2. Dynamic is a slightly lower height than comfort, but not a huge difference as far as getting in and out. To lower below Dynamic height (loading mode), you have to get out, make sure the doors are closed, open the rear hatch and use the buttons there. Probably not something you're going to do for each entry/egress. It does help a bit for reaching the roof, but so would standing on a 2 by 4.

Default Mat

Thanks for all of your input. I have added the rear side air bags and deleted the rear cargo mat so far.

Thanks
