Default Time for new brakes... brake pad recommendations?

Hi... 2018 Q7 w/ squeal in reverse issue... we've put up with it for 35k now.. even tried the second clip. It still squeals.. now i have a new squeal and the only way to make her happy is to change the brakes..
Ive followed the thread w/ the clip.. but i couldn't find a definitive answer. Any recommendations / experiences? OEM? aftermarket?
i also have Zimmermann rotors on order.,, just not sure what to get for pads

Same boat here too. Did my first change with OEM at 27k. At almost 60k now and will be doing pads again soon. Bought the power stop but hear the squeal happens with those too. So I have not decided what to do either

I used EBC yellowstuff which were awesome. They squealed a bit at light pedal pressure at lower speeds, but they seemed to dust less and stop better than OEM so I didn't mind. At the end of the day if the brakes make noise, so be it.

I just ended up doing FREMAX rotors all around with energit pads from europaparts. No where in the world could I get EBC pads in a timely manner. I forget if it was the fronts or the rear but one of them was in stock and the other was absolutely nowhere to be found in a timely manner. At this point if what I put in for pads ends up sucking I can pad slap the car or just do brakes earlier since I really didn't spend much on the whole thing anyway....
