Tough decision!
New to the forum and potentially a new Audi owner!
Debating between two options the dealerships have gave me and would love to hear your opinions.
The first lease option is a 2017 2.0 Premium Plus with all options i'm interested in (Vision pkg, Warm/ColdWeather pkg, 20 inch wheels and it even has the black and oak gray inlay) payments of $760 for 36 months/7,500 with $2,500 down.
OR
2018 Prestige with an MSRP of $68,450. Payments of $987 with $3k down BUT this is based on a 48 month lease! I love the ambient lighting in Prestige as well as the soft closed doors but I don't see where it's worth the extra $220 in monthly payments, especially for 48 months! (Sorta feel like i can still squeeze them a bit for a better deal) What else is on the Prestige that I cannot get on a Premium Plus besides the 3.0 engine and such?
Your opinions are appreciated. Will be making my decision in the next 48 hrs

It really comes down to what your budget allows and if you want to have that payment for an extra 12 months. Regardless of the features the Prestige has (lighting, HUD, soft close doors etc), have you driven the 2.0 and 3.0 back to back yet?

I would do a back to back test drive as suggested above. 2.0 had decent acceleration on local back roads and I couldn't tell the difference...until I got to the highway. That's where you can tell the difference between the power of 2.0 and 3.0.
As for PP vs. Prestige, here's a thread on the differences. I am leaning towards Prestige - Black optic package, soft close doors, and HUD makes a difference (and gives me a chance to be different from the other Q7s I see on the road.)

I would try to max out your Multiple Security Deposits (MSD) rather than trying to buy down your Capital Cost. In the event of a total loss, your down payment disappears, while MSDs are returned at the end of the lease. There's a ton of info on google/the forum on it. It will help buy down your MF/interest. Also, make sure the dealership is offering base "buy" rate for your lease.

Knowing how I am my wife insisted I drive the 3.0 just to see how it compared to the 2.0. So I drove the 2.0 and 3.0 back to back and I was sold on the refinement, smoothness and of course power of the 3.0. BTW, this isn't a knock on the 2.0, I really was impressed with it and the OP really can't go wrong with either.

Prestige is a bad deal. You can do much better than and stay with 36mo lease. Where are you located? You can easily get 7% off in NY/NJ area.
I just did some rough calculation with current rates (58% 10k/0.00186MF) I get ~$900/mo with just sales tax upfront (NJ 7% is around $2200). Need your state and tax rate for better estimate.

And this is exactly why I suggested the back to back test drive.. I was very close to pulling the trigger on a 2.0 PP with the same options that I have in my 3.0. I test drove the 2.0 twice and was very impressed with how the 2.0 moved the 5,000 pound Q7.

What's the MSRP of P+ 2.0?

The $220 in monthly payment includes the 3.0 engine, right? Then you also have HUD in addition to what you mentioned. I'd go with the Prestige...try and get a better deal

Yes, the engine noise was much more noticeable on the 2.0 during acceleration.. It didn't really bother me, and I didn't think much of it until I drove the 3.0.
