Not the suspension, the engine mounts. https://www.audizine.com/forum/showt...Mounts-Changed

Wow, high tech active mounts! I think all 3.0T have that?? Audi put too much unreliable tech in the newer models. I am glad the Mk-I was from the stone age.

Thank you for educating me
My extended warranty is good till 100K miles
I'll be sure to get the motor mounts inspected prior to warranty expiration (and will also keep an eye out for their degradation)

The only way to see if the motor mounts are bad is if they are leaking fluid, increased NVH at idle, or the engine moves a ton while the car is in drive while holding the brakes. You cannot really "inspect them" any more than that.

Hey Thanks for the update, who is your provider for extended warranty?

Thanks,

I can’t find the mounts on 034. They’re more expensive on ECS that from Audi. It’s also the first time I heard of these failing around 60-70k which I’m at. I wonder if preemptive replacement is a good idea.
stock part numbers are as follows

great news that the pump was covered. Why weren’t the bushings?

The prices of those active mounts are crazy. MSRP $366.67! Autohausaz has them for $310. Audi Reno-Tahoe $262. Mk-I plain hydraulic mounts were $90 each, that is what Audi should have used. Mk-II mounts might still be made by Corteco.

I am sure the prices will come down, if shipping container problems do not force the prices back up. Just inspect the mounts at every oil change for leaks you should be fine. Maybe by that time 034 will have the mounts.

OP's bushing was in the upper arm, correct?

There is a TSB for the lower arm hydro bushing: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/20...50661-9999.pdf
