VCDS for the new Q7
Since it's so new, I am sure no one has tried to change anything in the car. Also, looking at the Ross-Tech website, the regular USB version isn't compatible with the new Q7. So, the only option is to get the wireless dongle.
Things to change would be:
1) Disable the wink
2) Activate ambient lighting color selection on a non-Prestige
3) Disable engine start/stop - it's annoying
etc..

Has anyone completed this or any mod yet? I feel in my heart of hearts that the interior LED colors can be added on P+. Can anyone confirm by chance? I have a customer that went with a P+ but desperately wants to have the interior LED color change option.
Maybe a cash reward if anyone can help in a timely manner.
Thank you!

Just ordered the Carista wireless adapter. I'll keep you posted.I have a Prestige, so I can't test #2, but I'd like to kill the seatbelt chime (I know, I know....I should wear my seatbelt).
Carista doesn't have a detailed list of features for the Q7 or allroad, so it's quite possible I'll be returning it, if there's little functionality.

I really doubt Carista would be able to turn start/stop off. It's a more advanced option so most likely can only be done with VCDS. I could be very wrong though.

You're probably correct. The start/stop really doesn't bother me in the Q7. It's terrible in the BMW - almost feels like you're getting rear-ended every time it starts up.

ha.. tell me about it. I have an 2014 BMW M5, it takes 2 sec. to start the car when I stop at a red light..

So perhaps the start/stop can be controlled from there?
