Default What's on this Q?

Noticed a Q last night that had a metal lip at the edge of the trunk lid, similar looking to the color of the metal (plastic?) portion of our bumpers. Never seen this before, but was it something offered on the Q previously?

Interesting. For protecting the edge of trunk lid when open?

Could be - although it won't be very effective. When I'm in the garage and opening the trunk, the spot I hit when I don't drive in there enough is closer to the edge above the rear-lights and the rings.

I guess it could protect, but was wondering if this is after-market. Seem to match the other silver trims on the Q pretty well, so it looked like factory, and I wasn't aware of this as an option.

Looks like something you can get from ebay.

I believe the height the trunk lid opens can be programmed/adjusted.

Not my cup of tea, but hey, made BigKutta look, didn't it? Not sure how well it will look after a salty north east winter.
