Default "Mystery" ATF leak?

I've been having to top up the ATF resevoir that the power steering/brakes uses lately. (Usually tipped off by the pump making nasty noises)

Problem is, I've put in ~2L into the resevoir in the last week, but no signs of the missing ATF *anywhere*!

Sure, it could be hiding in the rack boots, but I don't think I could hide that much there. No sign of any ATF inside the car (if it were making it out of the brake booster that way).

No telltale puddles on the driveway, and I can't find any sign of any leaks under the hood..

Any thoughts what could be going on here?

Default Bah..!

Of course, the leak waits to show up until *after* I post..

It finally showed up: On the driveway!

Seems as if it's leaking from somewhere really low (under the 'bomb' plate?) Excess is flying off and landing way back on the transmission mount, so no 'wetness' to be seen in the vicinity of the bomb or hoses.

Looks like a visit under the car is in order this evening.. :-(

That makes sense. There is no way that much fluid is going somewhere

Probably the pressure switch on the manifold or one of the banjio connections.

Default Ok. Officially not a mystery..

Leaking on the line that goes to the rack, right at the rack end. Major 'squirt' anytime the steering loads up.

*MY* hose No. 17 is leaking too!

*Finally* got the hose out, and sent out to be repaired. Not fun...
