3B into 84 WR - Tubular Manifold?
As posted previously I have been undergoing a 3B engine and tranny swap into my 1984 WR. The wiring loom is now sorted which leaves the problems selecting gears and the manifold which has to be a hybrid of some sort to fit? Or do you know of one that is available 'off the shelf' (preferably a tubular for future proofing any mods I might make?)

There is nothing special about the exhaust manifold for a 20Vt into an ur quattro.
The stock 3B/AAN/ABY/RR 20Vt manifold fits fine, as well as the RS2(ADU) manifold. What issue are you having? While tubular headers generally allow for more power, they are also more prone to cracking and virtually all will require you to modify or fabricate turbo coolant lines, oil lines and intake plumbing. Just something to keep in mind.
You will of course need to get a downpipe made or modify a stock 20Vt downpipe to fit, which seems to be what most people do. Basically, you can cut the 3B downpipe where it splits, and have an elbow welded to match up to the ur quattro system. FWIW, the 3B S2 downpipe is virtually a bolt-up piece. These aren't terribly common though.
So what is up with the shifting? If you swapped in another 016 transmission, you just need to transfer over the linkage from the ur q transmission. You will need to adjust the linkage (clamp where the two long shift rods come together) to make sure that you can engage all of the gears.
