Answers for 83quattroCT (Long!)
Mark; I just finished rebuilding my WX motor and sorting out various issues. Took me almost a year!
I had the motor honed, installed new rings, new bearings, all new gaskets, replaced the WU regulator, and the aux air valve. I replaced the clutch, slave cylider and had the flywheel resurfaced.
Pulled the struts out and put them all on full stiff. Last year I had all the suspension pieces sandlasted and painted Imron black, and had all bushings/bearings replaced. Also did the G60 upgrade with a Tilton manual proportioning valve.
This year I replaced the front tie rods with a good set of used ones.
I went through my steering rack and replaced all o-rings, seals and crush washers. Also, I had all hydraulic hoses replaced, high pressure and return. I did some detailing of small parts while it was all apart. I put all new bonded rubber mounts wherever they are used, like the two radiators.
This is all on top of the watercooled turbo upgrade I did when I first got the car!
Thats all I can think of for now. I'm sure thers more! But..I consider myself about 2/3rds finished. I still have to do the hard stuff, like interior and body work. Fortunately, there is virtually no rust on my car.
Hope this was good readin!!

and sounds great too. Plus 100% success rate with hot starts! I am sure you are tickled after all that hard work and time. BTW thanks for the steering arm.
