Audi Gods are smiling...
I passed Connecticut emissions today! I NEVER thought it would go through. This is the last time the car will have to be emissioned as it will be exempt in the next two years.
When I got it from the body shop last year it wouldn't even idle or start properly....everything was gummed up.
With the help of more than a few local guys and a few junkyard trips I was able to get it all to work again.
Whew!

Let me guess.. it's an idle test only, no load?
The only one that didn't pass an idle without CAT was the '85 with the old WR 10v and Schrick cam.. it had a really rough idle.

Should be....
If CT follows the same testing as NJ, they don't have AWD dynos. I'm actually lucky its just a 2500RPM idle test, my 4kq might not have passed last year.

He did gas cap check, idle and then a "rev" check.......
There are AWD dynos here for emissions testing, but this place didn't have one.
The tests are no longer administered by the Gov...they are all done by private shops liscensed by the state.
