Cylinder Head for URQ 1983.... can I shop for heads from a different models (4000, Coupe GT or 5000)
Also, original turbo is gone (cylinder head and Turbo gone in one day) so I'm looking for a new one or rebuild one. Any suggestions? Should I do some upgrades (different head and Turbo)? What would be the best way to fix this problem? Any parts or the whole engine for sale....
Thanks

Could always go MC motor..
Swap over to MAC 11 ECU/wiirng harness and MC1 motor (Or MC2 motor and associated ECU/wiring harness).
Easy to find motor from an Audi 5000t, water cooled turbo, more common ECU (and for that matter, pretty well all the motor bits), easier to chip and get more power.
Disadvantge (As seen by some): You'd go to hydraulic lifters, instead of the solid ones you should have. BUt unless you rev the motor right to the limit, I'm not sure that you'd find much difference.
Others may disagree.. :-)

Good luck. Those heads are notorious for cracking. An early (pre '84) 5kt head is a direct
replacement, but those are hard to find as well. Unfortunately, there aren't really any other direct bolt on heads without doing some modifications. Of course new ones are NLA, and good used WX heads aren't easy to find. If you are lucky, perhaps you could pick up one from someone who has done a engine swap. The thing is, most engine swaps start with issues like yours. Make sure that you have any replacement head pressure tested.
Sounds like a good time to do a swap to a later MC engine. It is straightforward, and well documented if you search a bit. Finding a good one these days is getting tough as well, but they are out there and generally pretty inexpensive.
