Default Missed the event, but for a decent reason I think...Pics inside:

I know its not my URQ (although it really really is going to be done this week I hear. It has actually run and has working electronics, etc.). But its still in the Audi family and I figured i would post here for posterity. Traded my 996TT and picked up this Gallardo last weekend in Vegas and me and my best friend for the last 20 years drove it back to Colorado.
The drive was awesome despite the bad weather once we hit Vail pass at around 10pm. The car was outstanding and it was an awesome way to get used to it. Between that and getting to spend a couple hours washing it today, I feel like I'm getting to know the car pretty well...Here are some pics from the drive:

Taking Delivery at the Palazzo:

First rest stop...probably still in Nevada:

Second stop in Arizona Desert:

Default That is a TERRIBLE excuse!!!!

The are PLENTY of Gallardo's for sale, but there will only be ONE 25th anniversary of quattro!

Plus, how long has Dave Jones had your car now? ....and it wasn't ready for the event?

Default No, the car wasnt ready...so that is the other excuse.

Dave has had the car for almost 2.5 years so far...but its not like i had handed over 40k and waited this long either. So part of the delay was probably on my side and financial based. That and the fact that he has had to do and re-do darn near every weird thing on this car...
Also, even if it actually had been done, it would have been a brand new engine to break in and wouldnt have been able to go have any real fun with you guys.

(oh, and BTW, there actually aren't that many black 08 G coupes for sale...in fact there are 3 in the country...now only 2 (one in NC, one in FL) ;-))

Default Weak....

Not that you didn't make it the ur quattro (mine wasn't done either), but that you didn't stop by with the Gallardo!
