The car was just put together. Running a less than idea map. Boost was at 14psi and it seemed to response like a RS2 turbo. But at only 14psi pulled harder than my 5000 with 20psi! The map was a little lean IMO, exhaust manifold would hit 900 degrees Celsius. Very fast though, when it goes to the dyno for tuning I don't think it will have a problem putting 420-450 to the wheels.

Sounds like it was fun. I hope you're right, but I'd say that's a bit optimistic, at least, given what you've told us about the car, unless you meant after it was tuned correctly. Either way, though, sounds like a sweet ride. Thanks for the update. I'll be interested what it does on the dyno. I'd say around 360 at the wheels...just a guess for the heck of it.

At the last big event I was at the cars old set up with a GT28 (completely different set up only constant is the 2.0L motor but even then the cams have been changed again) it dyno'ed 379 to the wheels! So when he tells me he's going to get 450 this time I believe him. 379 to the wheels and it a quattro there's a lot of drivetrain loss there.

I guess we'll just wait to see how high he can go. That's one sick A4. I hope the tranny is stout. Bet is fun to row, that's for sure...
