questions on 2.7t install
What flywheel/clutch would be needed to install it into 1986 coupe quattro. I would think I could use a 92 90 2.8 flywheel and a clutch for a 5000tq. If so any leads on a flywheel for a good price?

2.7t?!? You dropping a B5 S4 engine in a Quat?
Or is it a bored over MC? Wait, did you buy that motor from Tom at ECS? I'm confused, so I can't rightly answer your question(even if I wasn't I don't know that I could, but...).

It all depends upon what transmission you are using.
I am assuming that you are talking about making a 2.7l I5 using a 95.5mm (Eurovan) crank with an 83mm bore, not V6. If you use an 01E, get an ur S4 aluminum flywheel. MPD has them http://www.mpdonline.com/flywheel.htm ECS tuning also has some. ECS or AWE (and others) also have the aluminum V6 flywheels.
If you want to try an 016 (I say try because they will not hold together with high HP without a lot of work), use the "flat" flywheel from a '89.5+ 200 10V or '91 200q 20V.

Hope it aint "the one". If it is I wouldn't take the motor out...
...only one US spec 1986, ever. Worth more original than tricked out. Hell any North American Urq with a 1986 VIN should be left original. there's only maybe 5 or 6.

Re: questions on 2.7t install
Its a coupe GT quattro not an UR-Q. Made by us here at fastenough. I'm talking about 2.7 turbo as in a 2000 A6 30v. I have a I-5 stroker in my 1984 silver UR-Q.

See the B5 S4 list for clutch and flywheel. It still depends on the transmission.
If you use the 01E, which I will pretty much have to, get a single mass aluminum flywheel. The dual mass S4/RS4 flywheel would work as well. It just depends on how much hp you are looking for, which I assume is a LOT.
FWIW, I have heard of someone in the UK putting a 2.7T in an ur q. You might want to see if you can track that guy down. I have seen 2.8l S4 motors with custom pistons. Stroking it would be difficult with the splayed crank. I doubt the 3.0 liter alloy block would hold up to turbo duty at high output.
I also assume that you are converting the CGT to quattro, correct? No offense intended, but if you are doing all that fabrication, why would you bother asking about the little stuff? I doubt you will find any BTDT here.
