Default well, i finally joined the ranks.

i bought the white '85 on ebay. it's really nice. i went and saw it the day after it went up on ebay. couldn't resist. whoever had it took really good care of her. just need to tune it up a bit. hard to start when it's cold. not like real hard but it misses the first try and idles rough. once you give it a little gas it's fine. was just curious as to if that could be the cold start valve or do you think just plugs/wires? i already ordered plugs and wires and all new filters. well i just wanted to introduce myself. i'm sure i will be on here alot now. thanks for any help now and in the future.

Default Is that the one from the Lexus dealership?

Very nice car. Change of plugs and wires does wonders for the Urquattros. Suggest oil change as well and perhaps a quick check with a dwell meter on the DC to get an idea of the CIS system.

Looks really good! and your on top of things.

Bosch is good. No problems.

If you put all the parts in the car will probably run alot better.

Nice car congrats, it's nice to see another '85 here on the board.
Please take time to read the post about the urq registry.
Bill might be able to tell you some great info about the car (accidents etc)

Congratulations! I thought about buying that car too. Glad to see it is in enthusiast hands. I'm really excited because my wife and I are flying to Portland, (OR.) tonight to get the one we decided on and start the 700 mile drive home tomorrow morning. Then there will be two new Ur-Qs in the forum.
