Another boost hose leak?

Another boost hose leak?
So on my way to work this morning, I was accelerating in third when suddenly the car starts studderring and the boost drops. The car hesitates to idle and has a hard time boosting more than 5 lbs. The engine has a lot of shaking and hesitation and feels like its struggling to breath air. There is also a bit of gasoline smell so I think its running rich. CEL is flashing madly.
I was able to get the car back home. I'm fairly certain this is another hose leak somewhere, but after a few minutes looking around, I cant find an obvious leak. Any suggestions on how I could diagnose this???
maybe this is a good excuse to upgrade fmic...

flashing cel=misfires, and you're not getting more than 5psi because it puts you in limp
you've got a few approaches
- obviously pressure test
- check coilpacks
- check plugs
- check injectors
you'll stay in limp until you clear those codes.

Check for a faulty engine control module...
I think that is what is called In my 99 A4, I had the same thing happen a few years ago that you are describing and that is what it was. In the 99's it is located by the ABS control module in the engine compartment. A sure sign is that you will lose spark on the # 2 cylinder (if I remember right). It sounds like you are only running on three cylinders (like I was)and thus the rough idle, shaking and gas smell. Check for spark on all coils, if you find no spark on one then swap for a good one and check again. If still no spark on the same coil than that is it. Hope this helps.

im pretty sure its not the plugs, injectors nor coilpacks because....
I have the car up on jacks right now. When running the engine at idle, its rough and you can hear the exhaust slightly stutterring. When you push the gas to about 2K RPM, the shaking is gone and the engine is running fairly smoothly.
This leads me to believe that there is a leak somewhere between the turbo and TB. I need to figure out a way to do a pressure test at home to confirm this though...
any suggestions would be much appreciated. i'd like to fix this at home if possible...
