Default thanks Josh. Took a long drive after and it fells like a whole different car.
Anyone who has a D2 A8 should have this at the top of their list of things to do.

Default it takes the tranny from old man mode to sport mode.
I would try and explain all the stuff it does but I would not do justice to the description in the link.
