Default here ya go!

I had camera problems down there, so some of the pics didn't turn out as sharp as i would have liked. But, it's hard to get a camera lens serviced in Peru! I thought about buying a new lens, but pricing was ridiculous...

Big props to my friend's dad who joined us on this trip. He's 67, lives at sea level and was able to handle the whole Inca Trail.

Pics from my trip to Peru

Default nice! i wish i was able to spend more time in Cusco, and explore Peru some more.

definitely would like to go back! Lima got old after a day or two. Cusco felt like the more "real" Peru, although it was still very tourist oriented. I actually had a great time hanging out in Aquas Calientes for one night, too.

Default Forgive me, as I've never been, but is Idaho such a large state

Default the best night sleep of my life was in Aguas Calientes..

slept for 13 hours, at the macchu picchu hotel, it was the ONLY one there when I was there.. From what I have heard, that lil town has grown up a bit...

I was there in the summer, so Lima was depressing as hell, when I got off the plane, I thought I had made a mistake...

It took me 2 trips down to Peru to see everthing I wanted, it was also when the money just switched from the sol to the nuevo sol, so everything was dirt cheap...

Default cool, i know the feeling...

the first 3/4 of each trip down i was *dead* tired, late nights and early flights/trains...

next time down, check out iquitos, it's on a tributary to the amazon.. i was at a camp back there, under mosquito net, yadayadayada, no communication, soooo peaceful..

the natives are great, ate dinner one night at their camp right down the river.. let's just say they hold it down in the amazon!
