Default Anyone with a South Bend or Spec clutch in Boulder?

My 2.7T clutch is symptomatic again. Any chance anybody would let this guy drive their SB or Spec clutch-equipped 2.7T just around the block, to get an idea of feel?

Thanks heaps,
Bob

Default I wouldn't touch a SPEC clutch with a 20ft pole...

I've talked to too many people who have had major issues with thier products and customer service. I would check out Clutchmasters and/or a plain jane RS4 clutch...

Cheers,

Nick

Default TJ and OT: hey Jon - I finally bought a new road bike!

Yes, after 14 years I have retired the old Raleigh Technium Tank.

New secks on wheels:

I got the '06 which is Blue instead of yellow. The frame & fork weigh 980g together. So light, fast, and smoove I can hardly stand it.

http://www.scottusa.com/product.php?UID=9813</a

Default That is frickin awesome. I can't believe Raleigh was still kickin it.

wonder how many total miles you put on it since you first got it. My Cadex CF-R2 is still being used by my brother in law, he is going to train for Tri-athalons now that he just completed the Denver Marathon in 4hrs and 48 seconds for his first attempt. He almost broke the 4 hour mark. Not bad considering he had a massive tumor and part of his liver removed less than 2 years ago. You and I got those bikes the same summer, but no doubt you Raleigh saw more miles than mine has. I now have a Trek 2300, but it as not seen much action

Too bad you can't join us for lunch on Thursday.

Default Any chance I can drive that? Also, what "stage" or model do you have? Like it /not?

Thanks heaps for any feedback. I'm getting really, really close to needing this, and I really appreciate any feedback you can give.

RS4 is the best daily driven clutch around. SB and CM make good upgraded clutchesl for high HP/TQ
