Thanks Alex. I feel like I owe you at least a beer or two. Let me know when and you can share your tips on the s4 world. As some of you know I have a 20 valve wagon that has served me very well. However I was looking for a newer replacement as we have a 4 month old son now. I searched for a Volvo v70r 6 speed for a long time with no luck. Had one which I had a deposit on sold out under me even. But last night I became the proud owner of a beautiful 2001 Nogaro blue avant with 55k miles on the clock. More details and pictures to follow. I love the car and what a difference from the 200 20 valve.

That would be great, but don't feel like you owe me anything. Glad it worked out for you and great to see that nice S4 Avant go to someone that clearly appreciates Avants long term. Definitely a good local B5 S4 community here.

Drop me a line the next time you plan to be in Boulder or if you decide to keep the Alcantara and just need black door cards. Might have a spare set.

i dont feel like I have to at all actually. It was great to meet you and you clearly know these cars a lot better than I do. A few beers is definately worth the knowledge and getting to know the crowd. I like the nogaro inserts in the seats just not a fan of the doors, especially the blue plastic around the window switches. not the fastest car but definately the most robust car I have ever owned. Will be missed but it stays in the family so I have visitation rights.
